SPOG sued to block the release of a detective's name we already knew on a case we barely cared about.
They won, but the court said they wouldn't preemptively exempt all future records requests under similar circumstances, so they appealed.

Seattle has once again pushed back the court hearing for the traffic ticket given to the cop who killed Jaahnavi Kandula while driving roughly three times the speed limit. he refuses to pay a fucking traffic ticket for it and they won’t even hold him accountable for that.

SPD officer Kevin Dave killed Jaahnavi Kandula 19 months ago by hitting her at 74 miles per hour, and he had NO valid driver’s license at the time!
Since he hasn’t paid the measly fine he got for killing her, he’s in court on August 13th. It's simple!
