Our final children’s outpatient appointment. 17 yrs ago we walked through the doors holding our blue baby; terrified and confused. Today we walked through the same doors and immediately Deb gave us the biggest hug; there were tears! Next step - adult congenital clinic.🙏♥️

We shouldn’t have to wait for our next holiday to finally feel reset. If the only time we switch off is once or twice a year, we’re running on empty the rest of the time.

Today, Seb and Immy visited @TheBayFoodbank to deliver the trolley of food and toiletries they collected in the build up to Christmas. Jackie was telling the kids how their Advent4Foodbanks campaign was the spark that inspired countless others to support The Bay Foodbank.

Whilst I’ve been in the North Sea many times, I’ve never been in on Boxing Day or NYD. Huge shout out to Cath Jenkins for being the reason Nadine and I braved the baltic weather; we absolutely loved it! Bonus…raising some money for @CHUFOfficial.
