It was a productive week in Albany! I met agriculture leaders at the Rural Resource Fair, pushed the FRESH Communities Act, spoke at the SBDC on MWBE support, and met with CWA on worker protections. The work continues to uplift workers, support local economies, and build equity.

Grateful to return as a keynote speaker at the Upstate NY MWBE Conference in Rochester. It was an honor to engage in meaningful dialogue on advancing equity and opportunity. Congrats to this year’s honorees, and thanks to all partners supporting MWBEs.

Last week, State Senators worked to finalize and release our One-House Budget Proposal. I’m pleased many of my statewide and district priorities were included. Now we push to secure them in the final state budget. Thanks to advocates who came to Albany to support NY families.
