@iqrafatma1278 Its so much easier to tip in the UK, its not a given or expected so its always so gratefully received I usually round up or 20% whichever is more and never not once had a problem, if anything people often try to refuse it or say its too much

My husband and I went out for dinner last night, and something happened that honestly left me confused. Our bill came to $70, and we left $20 on the table as a tip. In my mind, that felt reasonable. It was not meant to be disrespectful, and we were not trying to make any kind of statement. We simply paid the bill and left what we thought was a fair tip. But the waiter refused to take it and told us that if we were not willing to tip at least $35, then we should not be dining out. I was surprised, because $20 on a $70 bill is still a real amount of money. Maybe it is not what some people expect now, but it also does not feel like nothing. I understand that servers work hard. I know tips matter, and I respect the people who do that job. But I also think moments like this show how tense tipping culture has become. What used to feel like a thank-you now sometimes feels like a demand. Customers feel pressured, servers feel underpaid, and everyone ends up frustrated with each other instead of questioning the system that created the problem. So I am genuinely asking: was $20 on a $70 bill really that bad, or have tipping expectations gotten out of hand..., 🤔🤔🤔?

@Reflexistir You have to suck it up thats kind of the deal its your wedding you presumably set the budget and picked everything, you get it back when you are invited to each of your guests weddings I guess

Here’s a fun story. I’ve read two books in my life. Mortal Kombat annihilation and Holes. And I really enjoyed Holes. Then I saw the movie and I hated it because it wasn’t the book. It wasn’t the vision in my head. I saw project Hail Mary and LOVED it. There’s even a 3d printed Xenonite grace in my backdrop now. I’ve been reading the book. I’m 1/3 through and it has been an amazing time. The book and the movie compliment each other so well. I almost feel like it’s directors commentary on a DVD.

@LFCZA I seen someone earlier in season say it and its so true but I used to watch them eat biscuits like I missed nothing now I suffer through the games and switch off to the whole thing until next one

A season to forget. But for me it was a season of disengagement. I genuinely switched off for a few weeks in a row. I couldn't tell you many results as I had become so numb and disillusioned. I hated everything about it. It can't continue next year.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
