Today I woke up after 7 hours of sleep. For most people that’s normal. For me, it felt like a luxury. Because for the past two years, sleep has been a rare commodity. I’ve just completed my MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). But this journey looked very different from the typical MBA experience. Most days started at 7 AM and went on until 6 PM in college. And it wasn’t just weekdays. Classes ran Monday to Sunday- lectures, assignments, case studies, presentations, group projects, and eventually dissertation work. But the day didn’t end there. Once college ended, work began. While pursuing my MBA, I continued working at COTI, something I had already been part of for years. My work involved supporting users, managing community discussions, and helping people navigate the ecosystem. Over time, I was fortunate to be trusted with more responsibilities within COTI. What began with community and support gradually expanded, and I eventually also stepped into business development, helping connect builders and opportunities within the ecosystem. Evenings turned into work hours. And nights often turned into early mornings. Assignments had to be submitted. Case studies had to be prepared. Presentations had to be delivered. Work responsibilities continued alongside. On most days, I was running on about 5 hours of sleep. There were moments when the schedule felt overwhelming. But amongst all this, COTI still stayed my first priority. Five years ago, during the COVID pandemic, my father passed away due to coronavirus, just three days before I was due to begin my job at COTI. I was 22 years old at the time. Overnight, many responsibilities came my way- including helping manage the financial stability of my family. Those months forced me to grow up faster than I had expected, but they also shaped the way I approach life today… with a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude for every opportunity. Looking back, the last few years have been about building step by step— learning continuously, taking on new responsibilities, and moving forward even when the road felt uncertain. And now, that chapter of pursuing an MBA while working full-time has come to an end. The degree is complete. What I value most from this journey isn’t just the MBA itself, but the discipline and resilience it demanded. Today, waking up after 7 hours of sleep felt like a small reward after two intense years. Now it’s time to give my full focus and energy to the ecosystem that made this journey possible in the first place- @COTInetwork Grateful to @shahafbg, @VOvadenko95, and countless other team members for their support, directly and indirectly, throughout this journey. The MBA chapter may be over. But now it’s time to step up with everything I have and keep building forward.

After the ‘happy dance’, I took the baby bird to the vet. But she suddenly got worse. The vet said she was severely dehydrated. 30 minutes later, she passed away in my hands. I’m heartbroken. I truly thought she had made it. I wasn’t planning this, but I walked into a pet store today and walked out with a Golden Retriever. Grief shows up in strange ways.
