North Texas is hiring Raj Murti as its football general manager, a source confirmed to @TheAthletic. Murti, 23, will be one of the youngest GMs in college football. He spent the last year at TCU, as assistant director of player personnel. Owen Chandler, who was hired as Northern Iowa’s GM earlier this year, is also 23 and was believed to be the youngest in Division I at the time of his hiring. Before TCU, Murti spent five years on the personnel staff at Houston, working his way up to assistant director of player personnel.
