Eight years ago, I was campaigning for #BursaryOrBust, believing we could protect nursing’s future. The pandemic showed nurses’ value, but reality has set back in. Nursing isn’t unattractive because it’s hard—it’s hard because it’s undervalued. Support must reflect the work.
