Congrats to our Sharpstown Theatre students! Today at contest, Luis received an outstanding tech award for his work on lights and Gizeni and Perla received acting awards. Sharpstown also received 1st place!!!! District Champs!! We’re going to Bi-District!!! :D #sharpstowntheatre

Reminder: The District will be closed for Chávez-Huerta Day on Monday, March 25. Students and staff will return on Tuesday, March 26. Chávez-Huerta Day commemorates the legacies of labor leaders/civil rights activists César Chávez and Dolores Huerta.

Debate day: 6 questions were posed and the students stood on the left for disagree and the right for agree. The opinions were well informed and the defenses were very passionate! We now better understand why the Vietnam War was so polarizing. @iamsharpstown

March is #NationalNutritionMonth, so we paid a visit to the culinary education students at @Sharpstown_HS. As part of a lesson on good gut health, students made brine for pickling cucumbers!
