Today's news that the Mayor of London will provide £4.66M for the 60th Notting Hill Carnival is hugely welcome. It will ensure a well organised and safe carnival can go ahead. Last year, residents told me they appreciated the extra stewarding and crowd control measures, that made Carnival 2025 one of the best organised in recent history. This funding from the Mayor will ensure we can build on that in 2026, and put on a great event.
