Got 12,000 words done in four days to start my total rewrite. Hoping for ~90,000 words total. The plot is starting off very strong. Is the enigma standing between a victim and a multi-billion-dollar criminal empire one of them, or is he protecting her from them? #Thriller

@SheExclaimed I am a bit of both... Imagine a road trip from New York to Los Angeles...I would plot out the cities I wanted to visit (Pittsburgh, Nashville, Atlanta etc.) and then work out the route from one to the other as I write. And sometimes things come to me and I go on detours!

@ccbolick So “How NOT to Write a Novel” 😂 It’s definitely difficult to revise a draft that’s poorly constructed. What not to do is exceedingly valuable.

@SheExclaimed Get an idea, get a title, draft some characters, add milestones to direct the story, add set pieces that go in between the milestones....then write to fill in the blanks.

@R_R_Hutchinson The flavor profile sounds Mexican hot chocolate, which contains cacao and spices. I would like to try it.

@SheExclaimed I like them! The bag smells strongly of cocoa when opened, and that's the predominant flavour, with only a subtle hint of chilli on most of them. I've had some other sweet-ish ones before which I also liked, so no real surprise there 😄

I love it when my wife walks in and chucks a treat on my desk without a word. Looking forward to trying these 😋
