Will never forget how well he handled sanctions and defended our club whilst going through his own personal problems. And of course on top of that we won the champions league. I was calling for his head after 2-0 loss to Leeds and then we played St Petersburg and that was it.

As a people leader, it really irks me when I see people being dismissed. Behind everyone there is a story. People who have responsibilities back home, whether that’s a mortgage, kids, sick parents, going through divorce etc…if someone is underperforming, I personally see it as a failure on my part for not being able to bring the best out of you.
But anyway, I digress…the 2 year rule is changing!
From Jan 2027, unfair dismissal rights kick in after just 6 months (down from 2 years), so employees get legal protection MUCH sooner.
That’s a win! And again, Leaders/Managers…have some compassion. Employees are human, not just numbers!
