Do not ignore your fibroids even if a doctor tells you ‘not to worry’ My fibroids were wrapped around my spine & impinged on my ability to walk by the time I got my surgery Take action before they affect your quality of life & work life Also it’s interesting to me that anglo women & their docs call them abdominal tumors, not fibroids and seem to get way more attention & sympathy in doing so 🧐

You can host a training for nurses in your city educating them on how to resist ICE in their workplaces. You can set a date, make a poster, find a venue. You can do 1:1’s with nurses you know and learn the in and outs of how this interaction would happen in their ERs. You can consult with lawyers and determine what the risks are of workplace action. You can teach them that nobody is coming to save them, and their bosses will never make a plan for them that actually serves their patients and them. You can help them to make a plan that keeps everyone safe. You can host a training for any industry in your city educating them on how to resist ICE in their workplace. We’ve done it in KC. You can do it too.
