One of the most misunderstood big five animals. The Cape Buffalo is known as the mafia of the Kruger because of its unnerving gaze and daunting demeanour.

Our local leopard Ntima on high alert as the sounds of hyenas echo in the area. The dappling black spots on his body form circular rosette patterns that are golden in colour at the centre. Some of the spots on his neck, belly, and limbs are smaller and do not form rosettes.

After a difficult a few months, the wild dogs pups are finally old enough to keep up with the adults on the hunt. Here they are playing with a piece of Impala skin.
