Since 1994 we voted for change so black South Africans could be part of the economy. But 30 years later, we’re still the majority with no real ownership of the means of production. It feels like this government failed to take care of its own people. Apartheid governments look after their own first. We deserve better than being left behind in our own country.

In Botswana the economy is controlled by people of Indian descent, while in South Africa and Namibia it’s controlled by British, Dutch, and German descendants. Natives are the majority in all 3 countries, but we still don’t control the economy.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I checked the top 10 richest people in Botswana and it’s the same story here. Batswana and native South Africans are the majority, but we don’t own the economy. Namibia, Botswana, South Africa… in these countries the natives still don’t control wealth. That needs to change.
