On my first day as a gen surg intern I sat down at a table for multidisciplinary rounds where the attendings looked like me or shared my background for the first time ever. I cannot even express how amazing that felt.

This is the definition of madness. This woman couldn’t get treatment for her MOLAR pregnancy. It’s a hydatidiform mole. There may not even be a fetus at all, and if there is, it doesn’t survive past a few weeks after conception.

@FmObDreaming @MateoRamsesMed I was lucky to have graduates warn me about this. Many of my class gave up their apartments to live at home 2nd semester to save that money for moving and that unpaid transition period. I just got my new place for residency, and I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise.
