@sainsburys unable to check out my delivery for tomorrow. Get as far as the payment page and then it says there is a technical issue. Tried deleting the app and clearing my cache. Need to sort this ASAP
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? tells the story of Eve, a successful novelist who is struck down by brain cancer and who begins to put her life back together. Eve’s story is my story – and through her tough times, she laughs and cries and is upbeat, as am I. I hope you will enjoy it. 2/3
To my readers & friends around the world, I am so grateful for your incredible love & support following my diagnosis. I want to tell you about my new short novel which publishes in October. WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE? is fiction, but it is my most autobiographical work to date. 1/3
@shakenudder bought one of your milkshakes in @sainsburys and it tastes sour, made me feel ill after only drinking a small amount. It’s within the use by date. Perhaps a quality issue? Will provide more details if needed but quite concerned and disappointed.
He's gone. My hero. My dad. I was a total daddy's girl and will miss him so much. It's hard right now. I'm mostly in a daze and have been working on his obituary. I won't be on SM much but will read comments later. Happily, Dad got to celebrate his 90th birthday last week, which he had talked about for months. I love you so much, Dad. 😢
What. A. Day. My poor dad. Mom, too. Rough day, but we were together in the hallway for all to see. 😢 Very uncomfortable. Very strange. I told one of the nurses my dad seemed like a zoo animal because everyone was gawking at him. My siblings think he's safer this way. 🙄 #dementia
I made a batch of chocolate-covered cashews, Dad's fave, for his 90th birthday today! Pics later. He has been excited about his birthday for months! We're going to have two small celebrations with immediate family only since he's facing serious health challenges right now. Prayers needed. 🙏
@Singingchef25@KinsellaSophie Thank you. We're all in shock. One of his five siblings had Alzheimer's and a cousin has it now. Naturally, I'm worried about all of us now. It's such a cruel disease.
@KinsellaSophie I’m writing on behalf of my daughter, who’s not on Twitter. She’s 27 now but I so remember having to trudge to Waterstones to pick up copies of your latest book. She devoured them all. She loved your books and is sending you her very best wishes through me, her interlocutor.
We love you back! My dad was just diagnosed w/dementia so we're falling apart, but he turned 90 yesterday! You're far too young to have this dreadful challenge handed to you. You're in my prayers & I'm off to buy your newest novel. I'm also going to name a character after you, Sophie. Love and hugs from an American reader and fellow author. xo ❤️
@KinsellaSophie I’m so so sorry to hear this 😢 I was so thrilled to meet you some years back I still have all the ones you signed for me (and even more 📚 ) and will keep them forever. I hope and pray you’ll be ok 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 you’re an amazing author. Sending lots of love and big hugs, Jules xxx 💖
My disabled brother has bipolar and suffers from mania and insomnia. Sometimes the only way to get him to sleep is “the snuggle-wrestle” to trick him into lying down. This was us at 1am on Christmas morning 😂 I actually slept very well and so did he #duvetknowitschristmas
Happy Birthday @taylorswift13 ! Thank you for your incredible music and for being soooo inspirational! I hope you have a great day! Best wishes! 🍰🥳 #taylorswift#birthday
I’m thinking about deleting my account here…
X doesn’t have the same vibe as Twitter once did.
I’d love to hear what your opinion is on this…
In my opinion, with regards to this platform, it’s a case of deciding whether to stay on here or not…
Maybe it’ll be 👋🏻 from me!
