@Muppetiers We saw at Grimsby what happens when the youngsters are in the middle. No control of the football. Let him go out on loan, I say. I also don't think he fits in Amorim's system. Has great potential, but maybe he's hoping for a new manager also. He fits a 3 in midfield better.

One of the things that just doesn’t match up with the long term view preached, and spent a good half hour just talking about, is the selection of the midfield. 2 older players with likely no long term future at the club. Was surprised by it week 1. Kobbie situation a direct consequence of that. And it isn’t working. It lost a European final and has shown nothing.

@Malachians The keeper just makes the team and the fan base so nervous at every corner. This has to be fixed. Amorim needs to grow a pair and bring Bruno off when Mount is playing better. Also Mbuemo could've been subbed today and let Amad free on the wing. RB, CM and a GK are needed. IMO

Maybe Amorim just needs a bit more time on the training pitch with his players or something

@Hayles_101 It's not the selling of Bruno we fear. The fear is replacing him. We sold 20-30 goals last season (Scott, Rashford etc). Now we are selling Bruno our assists and goals. I'd rather all the dead weight was removed 1st and then see where we stand on Bruno

And no, the situations aren't the same. It's just about the mindset of putting so much weight and reliance on one player. Like life won't go on without them.

Interesting how much better of a team PSG became after selling Mbappe, deemed top 3 players in the world at the time. Interesting timing given the Bruno situation. I personally refuse to have a 'we can't build a successful future without Bruno' way of thinking

@Muppetiers Were you watching the same game? Dorgu has been terrible, I don't see what people see in him. He's too raw still. Not sure how many goals we've lost because of him this season. And last night there was no difference. No communication at the back. Yoro the only positive.

Dorgu and Yoro were probably our 2 best players in the final. 2 players that fight, are physical, are athletic, and have actual bite in them. Tottenhams brute CBs abused all our players front to back. Physicality is so undervalued, and cost us this final, make no mistake.
