Kisoro Police kick off investigations as taxi driver Sanvura Godfrey, 43, of Sagitwe Village in Nyarusiza Sub-county, was found dead. His body was found lying in stagnant water along the Kisoro–Mgahinga Road on Friday morning. Body transferred to Kisoro Hospital.

Two officers of UPDF are in detention following orders from CDF Gen.Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Maj.Gen. Don William Nabasa & Brig.Gen. Johnson Namanya Abaho are being held at Kasenyi military facility. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement explaining the arrests.
