NEW: Liberal media is melting down because Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth hosted a voluntary prayer service at the Pentagon and invoked the name of Jesus Christ.
The Washington Post called it "dangerous" and "proselytizing" that breaks longtime norms. MSNBC labeled it "cult-like Christian nationalist rhetoric."
