My country has privileged me to achieve a measure of success. It is my obligation to give back, to keep it going.

Burocrats must be bare minimum for the purposes you mention. If It grows too much, more taxes are required confiscating money from the people.

I want my neighbours to be educated, fed, have healthcare, and good infrastructure. They’re far more productive then. Democracy requires advanced citizenship.

Western economies are overleveraged to the tits and public spending does not generate wealth. We are in for a shock and it's not going to be nice. People with the assets will always come on top. It's sad.

@SmileyphaseLW @shortdestroyers @gamestop No worries. What you say is direct tax on products. Changing the countries taxation procedure takes time. Main objective is reindustrialize America. In my case, i would want to get rid of the european burocrats. There has to be a balance for economy to florish. We will see.

Tariffs on Canada and Mexico are such a remarkably bad idea it's hard to even know where to start. It'll likely plunge both countries into recession, there will be retaliatory tariffs and Canada might halt energy shipments, fueling US inflation. Mutually Assured Destruction.
