@SilvaHound An even better starting point is to understand that AI is hype/marketing terminology, and that fundamentally neither group is the thing people picture when anyone says "AI", and continuing to use "AI" does their marketing for them while creating miscommunication and confusion.

Algorithmic AI is a necessary tool, generative AI (moreso, the current culture surrounding it) is a blemish on humanity.
I’m gonna need us to get a better education on the different forms of AI and their purpose because generalizing it like this undermines the importance of technological advancement through means of algorithms and machine-based learning (i.e., every search engine, spam filter, and autotune program ever is AI), and doesn’t do enough to help us understand the key problems we should be focused on (identity-based crime, copyright infringement, extreme creative job market losses, customer complacency in the resulting quality loss).
You can’t start a discourse without understanding it first. THAT’S called an echo chamber.

Real question. I want to start this discourse. Do we hate A.I. or do we hate the application of it that people use? Typing a prompt for a song then releasing the song is crazy and lazy. I can agree with that. Using A.I. to expand on a creative idea you had, that feels more gray. If A.I. expands that idea is it no longer creative? is it no longer art? I’ve been pondering this for a while now which is why I reframe from using it or talking about it. I think the music industry is heading into an interesting era where many of us who take that stance will get left behind. I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts on this. (Please no blind hate, give me legitimate thought out responses.)

@HeebJeebs Visually it's confounded a bit because it's such a fast song, and the death by TV appears to be an accident. Maybe he did not personally intend to die, but definitely everyone in that tank was gonna get fried either way.
