Telling people to wait 8 hours for a game to get good/fun is ridiculous. All of the best games Ive ever played get you hooked almost immediately in some way. In Bioshock 8 min in u have the wrench cracking splicers in the head and getting lore of Rapture. In Uncharted 2 you start out in one of the coolest set pieces in a game. Elden Ring 10 min in ur outside getting destroyed by Tree Sentinels. FFX Sin comes and destroys Zanarkand and ur thrown into battle. Sure something crazy happens early into CD but then its……a bunch of random tasks for the sake of introducing all the mechanics that feel incoherent without addressing what happened at the start? Strange, but I get it since its a 100+ hr experience. Just not for me! Like I said previously a lot of people will love Crimson Desert but that doesnt make anyones criticisms less valid! This game is NOT for everyone!
