For all our lives we have known and loved the songlike inflection and narrative-rich game calling of the great Vin Scully. We will miss the words and music he brought to the game of baseball for the rest of the way. RIP #vin

We are saddened by the loss of the great Nanci Griffith. What a treasure her songs have been, and oh how she honored other writers. We were proud to have Pat Alger guest in a country class & recall her sweet, reedy voice saying his name. “A very blue moon” is coming on.
