How are we councillors expected to decide if it is sensible to whack up council rents and borrow over £1 billion for housing if we have no plan from the administration as to how they will manage the £100 million hole in the budget by the end of the decade?

We found out at yesterday’s Finance Committee that Labour-run @wandbc now plans: 📈borrowing of at least *£1.9 billion* 📉running down inherited reserves by at least £150m And to stop us asking questions, Labour moved a motion to shut down the debate and end the meeting early!
