In the second season we won a European cup with more than half the players injured the whole season, if we had our players fit whole of last season no way we finish 17th as we would’ve rotated.

There is cautious optimism around the injury of Kai Havertz. Timeline yet to be determined but initial fears of it being really serious have been alleviated. Trying to be as careful as I can with injury news and how fast it can change but thought the fanbase could do with this..

We were doing well before he came back then Mikel couldn’t help himself to put him in MF and then upfront, in that 6 week period he did more damage to our season than the PGMOL could ever have done this year. Anyone backing him likes he’s some sort of saviour is an enemy of the club in my book, it’s like they want us to be laughed at again.

Havertz has singled handily destroyed our season, I wouldn’t normally say this but I wouldn’t be disappointed if he missed the end of the season & this was a 2/3 week lay off, I’d have more confidence of getting over the line. Cost us the final with that big chance missed, that changes the direction of the game Wasted a free header from a corner v Bournemouth, it was 0-0 & that would have changed that game. Wasted 2 huge chances v City that will probably cost us the title. I hope he’s out for a few weeks & I also hope Berta sells him in the Summer, he has 2 years left & there’s no contract talks so I think I’ll get my wish.

@Salibasexual02 Lets be real gyokeres hasnt been as good as i thought at all BUT havertz hasnt grabbed his chance at all.

I can tolerate misplaced passs from Gyokeres if he’s scoring goals (& he is) when players like Odegaard are withholding passes & playing too safe, for me, that’s just as bad. What I can’t tolerate is babying a player on 270k a week who’s never fit & when he is fit, he actively damages what we worked so hard to build, he’s been babied from day one and it’s now toe curling. Some players are dead on their feet because they’ve grafted all season, other players are killing us in their short cameos from the injured room. I have no favourites, they all wear the same shirt but some players are afforded slack while some are not.
