Just got caught up and saw the reports about what took place earlier this week regarding Ricochet and an online fan with M.S.- Thanks to some DM'ing me the story and original tweeting, etc. I understand we are in a different time, and there are numerous ways to get "heat" or be a hated character, and some characters/talent take to the online portion of the fanbase to do so, but you truly never know what the person on the other side of the keyboard, or phone, is going through or has gone through. Making fun of someone with any sort of disease or mental illness is an awful look, and gross, no matter how much you want your character to be "hated". You can't try to be the change while being part of the problem, especially if you're a public figure or star. Just be kind, you have no idea who looks up to you.

WOR: One of Ricochet’s friends apparently advised him to take his tweet down, before Ricochet did so and issued an apology. “One of his friends called him and said, ‘You know, you really should take the tweet down.’ So he took the tweet down. And upon thinking about it, he then apologized. Nobody forced his apology or anything like that. He decided to apologize and he did.” (via Dave Meltzer)
