@_MINOKAWA @ChrisZukoArt Not as easily as usual🥹I usually do audio scripting in a visual programming language or try to come up with concepts/systems when I'm outside. I prefer to work at home for other stuff.
English

@ChrisZukoArt It depends on how you are as a person. If you like quiet places where everyone is working on their stuff, a library can be very useful. I made it my routine to go to my university's library while I was writing my Master's Thesis. I'm sure I couldn't finish it unless I went there.

I'm super excited to announce that I'm the newest contract sound designer at @akuparagames!!!🎉I'll be working on Sorry We're Closed by @alamodegames😁

@ChrisZukoArt What I especially don't like is the break nodes that don't allow you to hide pins.
English

@ChrisZukoArt Yes, yes, YESS!!! I really hope it is improved in the future.

Structs in Blueprint could be so much better! Here's my proposal!
I've seen BP structs evolve throughout UE4 and know that something better could exist!!
C++ looks like this.
SlotDetails.FullPath = NewSlotDetails.FullPath;
What do you think?

@helenlynchmusic No worries, at all! If you'd like to go a step further, here's a Max patch from when I was teaching it: drive.google.com/file/d/1pfgPjM…
English

@helenlynchmusic The notein object should be enough to get your midi keyboard input. You can hook up the left outlet to mtof object to convert to frequency and the second outlet to where you process velocity information.
English

@helenlynchmusic You can use the [notein] object. Double click on it in locked mode to select the MIDI device. You can also follow up with a [stripnote] object so that you don't get repeated notes when you press and release your keys.
English

@b_lakemusic I first got Smooth Operator and tried Soothe2 afterwards. I haven't touched Smooth Operator ever since I got Soothe2. They are not of the same league.

@minuskelvin Fantastic talk! I'm thrilled to hear about all the upcoming features. Very useful stuff, especially the debugging tools and audio scope. Your talk reminds me that I should start documenting my work so that it perhaps gets a mention next time. :P
