Please take this as a small but perfect example of what the world needs right now: love. Angry, but consistent love. If I could give you one example of what makes your country beautiful and worth fighting for, I’d point you towards this tweet to get you started.

As someone who regularly faces suicidal thoughts, I know this probably won’t help. I know how thick the glass between you and love can feel. Just know that it’s bullshit. That glass is a lie. You are loved. You don’t have to be strong right now. Tomorrow we’ll try again.

This may sound like virtue signalling. At this point I don’t care. Now is the time for those of us with the time, freedom and energy to support others. No one can take away the love in our hearts.

Remember, if we’re busy fighting each other, we’re too busy to fight corruption. And that’s what the corrupt want. I’m in the privileged position of comparative safety. So I’m going to make it my mission to provide a safe space online. To make art that sparks joy. To share love.
