A friend of mine once slapped a man, and almost everyone around her called her rude. Here's what happened. The man came over to where she was standing and kept touching her inappropriately. She politely asked him to stop. He didn't. She complained again. Still, he didn't stop. Instead, people around her brushed it off, saying: "That's just how he is. It's nothing serious." When the touching became too much, she turned around and slapped him. Suddenly, the same people who ignored her complaints started calling her rude and disrespectful. I'm curious... Was she wrong for slapping him, or was she simply defending her boundaries?
