Next Season on #DisneySpeedstorm: new Solo adventures! In Season 19, we're introducing Adventure Road - a brand-new Solo mode focusing on different racer Collections. Similarly to Chapters in the Season Tour, different Collections will now have a set of Challenges with Missions. Race through the Adventures with various Racers, complete Missions and receive special rewards! With this new game mode the goal is to expand the single player experience of Disney Speedstorm, and provide you with more Solo activities for the Racers previously released. At first, you'll be able to play the Adventures for Mickey and Friends, Lilo & Stitch, Aladdin, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia Collections, and we're planning to add more in the future updates. The first Mickey and Friends Collection will feature the most accessible challenges, making it a great starting point. Completing this Collection will unlock the Lilo & Stitch one, and so on, with each next Collection becoming a bit harder than the previous one. Show your best, and try to complete them all! The more races and challenges you complete, the more rewards you'll get! The rewards are all about the Racers featured in the Collection, and will include Racer Shards, Suits, Deluxe Karts, Kart Colors, Avatars, Frames, and more! Each of the Collection in the Adventure Road will feature its own Adventure Pass. Completing Missions from a Collection will grant you Adventure XP of that Collection. The more Adventure XP you collect, the further you progress in the Adventure Pass, and the more rewards you get! The rewards will help you upgrade your Racers, and provide you with some vanity items for them. Each Adventure Pass will feature both Free and Premium rewards. As you can see, Adventure Road has similarities to both Season Tour and Tournaments, and we're focusing on providing you with more Solo content and fun challenges that you can complete with different iconic Racers giving you valuable rewards! With his uncharged unique skill #Mater is throwing his hook forward - if he hits an opponent, the hook attaches to them, and Mater pulls himself forward, slowing down the opponent! 🚜 Mater's charged unique skill spawns tractor obstacles which slow the opponents. If Mater bumps into one of the tractors, he starts driving backwards on autopilot.

#LightningMcQueen is only getting a minimal reduction in speed while drifting! ⚡ When using the uncharged unique skill, Guido appears and changes his tires, giving Lightning a bonus to the top speed, while the old tires are rolled backwards on the track as obstacles for opponents. When the unique skill is charged, Lightning gets photographed, showing off his stickers and blinding his opponents 📸

This is your chance to earn more McQueen Shards and power up your racers. Each day of the event, you’ll be able to compete for Shards of Beast, Hercules, Fix-It Felix, Evil Queen, Dash, Forky, and Zuse. Hey Speedstars! 🏁 A hotfix addressing the recent connection issues and problems with claiming event rewards is now ready. The team has identified the cause of the issues and taken steps to prevent this moving forward. We’re now rolling out the hotfix to all platforms. Guido, Francesco Bernoulli, Holley Shiftwell and more iconic #Cars are joining #DisneySpeedstorm as the new Crew Members! 🚘 Collect them all in Season 18! 🔥

On February 12, we’re launching a new #Cars-inspired season, introducing the racers #LightningMcQueen, #CruzRamirez, #TowMater, and a brand-new racing environment. 🏁 From the very start of the season, all players will be able to race on the Radiator Springs tracks in Solo and Team modes, as well as through selected Season Tour missions. As always, the new maps will also be available in Private Matches and Local Freeplay via the Friendly Race option. ⚡ Players eager to try Lightning McQueen early will be able to do so in Chapter 1 of the Season Tour, where he appears as a guest racer in a dedicated mission. Some Lightning McQueen Shards can also be earned later in Chapter 6. 🏆 On February 12, a special Leaderboard event will allow players to earn Lightning McQueen Shards as rewards. A Multiplayer event for Cruz Ramirez will follow on February 13. 🛍️ From February 15, special Shop offers featuring Cars racers will also become available. 🏎️ Later in the season, from February 25 to March 3, Lightning McQueen’s Grand Prix will take place. This will be our first Grand Prix event and a good opportunity to earn additional Shards toward unlocking him. 🔧 Next, from March 17 to March 23, players can participate in Mater’s Tale event. Complete the objectives to get Tow Mater Shards. 🌟 After Mater’s event concludes, the second Grand Prix of the season will begin, dedicated to Cruz Ramirez. Running from March 25 to March 31, this event will offer further opportunities to earn Cruz Ramirez Shards. Hey, Speedstars! We've got some important news to share. In Season 18, we're updating the contents of the Golden and Diamond Passes. Here are the main changes: - The amount of Upgrade Coins in the Season Pass rewards has been increased. Now, when you purchase either Pass, you’ll get twice as many Upgrade Coins in the Pass! - Season Passes now feature previously released Racers, including the Mid-Season ones, that are usually harder to get. For example, Season Pass for Part 1 of Season 18 will have Moana & Anna, while Part 2 will feature Maui & Olaf. - All brand-new Racers along with their Crew Members will now be available in Special Events and Shop Offers. Take part in the upcoming events to collect as many Shards as you can! Other than that, Season Passes will have the same content as before, including the Season Coins, Season Box Credits, and various cosmetic items. Note that Diamond Pass Max Out feature is here to stay! Season 18 Diamond Passes will let you Max Out such Racers as Figment and Ennui, or others. Our goal with these changes is for more of you to be able to unlock, upgrade and play with previous Mid-Season racers in the future. As for the brand new Racers coming every season: if you don't manage to collect enough shards to unlock them at first, there will always be more events and new ways to get the rest of them in the future. For example, we'll be having a special Lightning McQueen Grand Prix at the end of February, Tow Mater's event around St. Patrick's Day, and the Cruz Ramirez Grand Prix at the end of March.
