I think it's kinda cool that Nexus Prime, the first combiner within the lore, turns into a jet and combines with Superion, the first Autobot combiner within the G1 show and toyline. Who is made up of jets.

I think when charting my interests from childhood to now there's a few major inflection points that alter the course of what I find cool forever. Gundam Unicorn was one of those, and arguably one of the most influential, considering how much Japanese media I've seen since.

Gundam Unicorn will always be one of my favorite things ever simply because it was the first anime I ever saw and I watched it when I was like, 13. It permanently changed my brain chemistry in ways I'm still not able to truly quantify.

There’s something ironic about Ultra Q kickstarting the Monster Boom with a repurposed Godzilla suit, only for Ultraman to slay another months later, eclipse Godzilla as Japan’s monster icon, and help TV overtake cinema.

@SunglassPri I just remember that Jack's eyes are higher and sometimes asymmetrical, other than that I have no friggin clue. Doesn't help that Man has had so much work done over the years.
