I have friends making their way from Kelowna to Vancouver via Coquihalla Hwy they say the road is brutal, black ice and low visibility, they just passed a flipped semi. It was equally bad they say going up Friday night @MineerBrett @MMadryga @KGordonGlobalBC @YvonneSchalle

All of this! I did a research paper about cruise ships for my Sustainable Tourism Development class during my grad studies and I don’t think I can ever ride on one for the rest of my life. An absolute dumpster fire at sea. And that’s ignoring the socioeconomic issues they cause!

I’m gutted. Anyone that knows me well knows that I had a childhood obsession with Grease and it is by far my most watched movie of all time (I’d reckon I’ve seen it at least 200 times). Will be spinning her music today in memory ❤️

@HoganBCMJ Food I would say Cheeky’s, Pinocchio in the Desert, Lulu, and Elmer’s. Art Museum was great if you’re into that. Get up into the mountains on the aerial tramway. If you have a car, date shakes at Shields Date Garden in Indio are 👌🏻 and Joshua Tree is incredible.

I know this contest was hotly contested, but this is well deserved. Kimberley is a lovely town and I always enjoyed getting to spend time there when I previously did work trips to the East Kootenays. Definitely one of my favourite small towns in BC!

@Jamloops The other replies have all suggestions I would add, but have to say this is smart to do so props! I still remember my first work trip to Kamloops six years ago, prior to moving here, and I decided to pronounce Tranquille based on Google Maps’ pronounciation and got some laughs 🥲

Attn #Kamloops folks: We have some newcomers on our staff, so we need to get them up to speed with unique regional pronunciations e.g. Tranquille, Savona, Coquihalla, etc.

@mateocouture Really would be curious to see unedited Snatch Games as bonus content at some point. Makes you wonder if they edited it to only the worst moments for the “drama” and to justify the lipsync battles next week.
