Boys finish 8th as a team (out of 16 teams) to finish out our season.

Special Congrats to Bradley Deering for winning the individual title at the Class 3 District 4 meet. Ran an absolutely great race pulling away from a familiar competitor and running away from the field in a dominating fashion. #SpoofhoundPride

We had 4 girls earn All-District status (top 30). Katherine Pohren (7th), Ellie Parsons (17th), Nyah Davis (21st), Audrey Deering (29th). #SpoofhoundPride

Congrats to our Girls for finishing 4th place as a team and qualifying for the Missouri XC State Championship next weekend. This is 2 years in a row and only the 3rd time in school history!! #SpoofhoundPride

Party like it’s 1995! @Spfhoundrunning girls win first MEC championship since 1995. All 5 varsity runners medal. 2. Katherine Pohren 4. Ellie Parsons 5. Nyah Davis 10. Audrey Deering 14. Avery Berry Bradley Deering led the boys by taking 2nd. Boys were 4th as team.

Boys finished 23rd in the Blue division. Numerous PR’s and season bests! Bradley Deering ran an absolutely perfect race pulling away in the last 400m to WIN in another sub 16 - 15:58!!

Girls finished 4th in the White division. Numerous PR’s and season bests. Katherine Pohren medaled finishing 9th (first MHS girl to medal at this meet)

MHS XC then traveled 14 runners to the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, MO on the state course. We stopped in Rocheport to get a pre-meet EZ run on the Katy Trail #SpoofhoundPride

Bradley Deering smashed his previous school record to finish 9th in the Green division (large schools) with a sub 16min 5K - 15:47. #SpoofhoundPride

All athletes ran a season best or new PR. Katherine Pohren placed 16th in the Gold division for the 2nd year in a row - the only female MHS XC runner to ever medal at the Southern Stampede
