Player # 10 in my early 2027 NFL Draft Watch is Texas LB Rasheem Biles - At 6’1 220lbs he is not the biggest LB but has elite athleticism to play the position. - He is great moving forward as an off the ball blitzer and shooting gaps in the run game to create negative plays. - Has great zone coverage feel keying in on the QB’s eyes while also feeling the routes developing underneath and behind him. - Very good tackler as he only missed 9 tackles in 2025. - Really good awareness to see where plays are developing to put himself in position to make the play. - Could add some weight to be able to take on blocks from climbing lineman as he is more susceptible to getting blocked when not attacking the LOS. - Saw a couple of plays that showed man ability although Pitt ran a zone scheme I would like to see him in man coverage more this year at Texas. - Overall Rasheem is one of my personal favorites in this upcoming draft class, I believe he’s a top 40 player and is in contention to be the 1st off ball LB drafted in the 2027 Draft! #hookem

Player # 9 in my early 2027 NFL Draft Watch is Mississippi State CB Kelley Jones. - Standing at 6’4 195lbs he has fantastic size for a corner. - Very good zone corner with great eye discipline and length to close passing lanes and play the football in the air. - Has good feet and hips for his size that allows him to pattern match in man coverage. - Shows the ability to stay in phase deep down the field blanketing receivers while also not committing penalties. - Can tackle and shows the willingness to, but could have better technique while doing so. - Can improve in man coverage in the intermediate areas as he has a tendency to get handsy in those areas not trusting his technique. - Can keep his hips sunken when guarding stop routes in order to throttle down sooner and allow less separation from receivers. - Overall I believe he would thrive in zone scheme using his size to disrupt passing windows and have him as a late 1st/early 2nd round grade. A good upcoming season could catapult him into the top 20!
