Very impressed by UNM. Looks like a team that will certainly be in the mix to win the NIT. Similar feel to the 2023 game against UNT when they won the NIT. 24 point defeat is the largest of the year and was more than the margin of defeat against Texas Tech, OKST and Utah.

CJ Beaumont has a career high 16 points tonight. A bright spot for Sam Houston on a tough day. Beaumont has shown a lot of growth the last few weeks being thrust into a bigger role.
