🎅 Christmas Closure! 🎅 All of our Springboard offices will close this afternoon so our staff can enjoy their Christmas break. We will re-open for staff on Thursday 2nd January at 9am and learners return on Monday 6th January at 9am.

Our learners at Futures Sunderland spreading festive cheer today and showcasing their jumpers and pyjamas for Christmas Jumper Day! Everyone has had lots of fun getting into the Christmas spirit.

Come along and join us for our Christmas Fayre. Springboard Futures SEND learners have been working hard making fabulous festive gifts for you and your fur babies. Funds raised will go to our SEND learners enterprise projects. Free parking on site easy to find, just off A19 ⛄️

Springboard attended an event this evening at Academy 360. We spoke to lots of year 11s about our open day in February so they can meet the tutors and look at our fantastic facilities at Springboard. Thank you for the invite Academy 360

12th - 15th November was anti-bullying week. Springboard learners took part in activities and explored this year's theme #ChooseRespect by taking part in group discussions, sharing experiences and listening to each other.

🎉Exciting news 🎉 We have an Open Day on the 27th of November 2024. We are open 10am until 2pm for visitors to come have a look around our facilities and talk to our amazing staff about our day care 🐩

@CharlieTanfield We run the country park over the road from the Hetton Le Hole Aldi you are opening in a couple of weeks. If you have time it would be great to show the park over a coffee. Some of the local elected members would be keen to meet you as well. 🙂

Springboard has had a busy few nights this week attending a number of different career events, South Tyneside Next Steps Event, Oxclose School Washington and Seaham High School. Great to speak to so many students and parents giving them information about the courses we offer.

Level 3 Childcare and Education group have been using the graffiti wall to create a Safeguarding Umbrella over the last few weeks. Today's session ended with developing our display skills to celebrate and showcase our learning.

Level 3 Childcare and Education learners have had the opportunity to be part of the NCFE Early Years Student Conference. We have heard inspiring stories and real-life experiences from people working in the Early Years sector.

Wearside women are holding confidential monthly drop-ins at Springboard on the 1st of every month. Female learners can pop in to discuss any concerns and find out where to go for support should they need it. See Annabell for further details.
