Another thing the Dele stuff has highlighted is the real need to win a trophy soon. Jan/Toby/Rose/Dembele/Eriksen and now Dele all left the club without a winners medal. We can’t let that happen for the likes of Hugo/Kane/Son.

I hope some of our current players see the fans’ reaction from the Dele sale & take something from it. It’s proof that you can leave something behind, you can leave with your head held high with this fanbase because we appreciate players who make us feel that special something.

If this the only thing you judge a player on then I feel sorry for you. Seen dele score countless goals against arsenal and Chelsea and rattled both sets of fans in the process. Scored in a win vs Madrid in the Champions league, assist vs Ajax in a CL semi.
