Alex’s standing medium punch is absurd. It’s huge, +0 on block, & most importantly: you can hit confirm it into his target combo (which leads to +5 Okie):
- you can meaty throw or jab.
- If you Jab it’s +2 on block so tick throwing after the jab beats 4f jabs
- jab into lariat here is a true block string (usually 1 frame gap). The Lariat is +3 & puts you in the perfect range for Strike / Command Grab mix up
-canceling the initial dash into hop makes DP and Drive Reversal whiff. Jabs also whiff. Also puts the opponent in a very awkward position
