Nursery have been on the hunt for signs of Spring today! We found new flowers and saw buds growing on the trees. We made guesses about what colours the flowers and leaves might be when they sprout. @EmmausCAT
Nursery have enjoyed learning all about plants this week. They planted flower seeds and after observing our spider plant cut offs grow roots, made them new homes in flower pots. We can't wait to watch them grow! @EmmausCAT

Mummy Bear visited Nursery today 🐻✨The children helped her to find Goldilocks, then Mummy Bear helped them make porridge! It was lots of fun and very delicious. @EmmausCAT
Nursery had a visitor today! The Big Bad Wolf left footprints and a note saying he was hiding. Nursery became police officers and searched the classroom to find him, using words like in, out, under, on top and beside to describe where he was. 🐺👣@EmmausCAT
Nursery have been learning about people who help us. They have role played being doctors, taking care of each other. They then made their own ambulances and enjoyed playing paramedics. @EmmausCAT

Year 2 enjoyed an inspiring trip to the Art Gallery. They explored a range of artworks and learnt about different styles and techniques. They then used what they had seen to create their own unique pieces, expressing their ideas through colour, abstract shapes and threading.
Year 2 took part in our Jubilee Prayer Trail. They reflected on key moments of faith, offering prayers of thanksgiving and hope. They also contributed to our school’s ‘Tree of Hope’, adding their own intentions and messages as a sign of growing together in faith. @EmmausCAT
