@DullVivid ...them that they're supposed to MUTUALLY help one another, not siphon unilaterally like a black hole of constant crisis without so much as a thank you because "I gave you life" is supposed to somehow be an un-repayable debt.
@DullVivid It's not evil to recognize the necessity of your own survival. Any guilt you experience in a no radio contact situation, or from swatting away flying monkeys, is less painful than being in the storm of it. If they pull the "families are supposed to help each other" card, remind..
be honest with me
is it evil i wanna put a fence up and block my dad cos he's nonstop freaking out about the probability of losing a house (his uncle wants to probate it 27 years late)
like I dont think I can deal with this family anymore, I want to cut all ties
@StabbyDraws I had my first tumor scare very recently 😨. But we left it alone after seeing the vet bill to see how it would develop. Turned out to be a very deep abcess, which popped (gross) but then sealed up cleanly within 3 days. So far, no tumors out of 8 boys. A blessing!!
Getting up to mischief tonight. My boys are as big as my ladies, and they're absolute lovebugs. I wonder how big they're going to get, they're barely three months old!
@ANighsRat Currently at 6: my oldest is just over a year and a half, my middle three just surpassed 13 months, and the youngest two are BOYS who were born in early December. I still love girl rats, but spays are expensive, but not spaying means even-more-expensive tumor factories. 😩
@RODENTPILLED@RatsPicnic I've had rats I give treats to weekly via syringe for their whole life who, as soon as there's medicine in there, become violently opposed to the taste, even if you're trying to hide medicine in something as strong flavoured as hazelnut chocolate spread or peanut butter.
