Congestion maybe from an allergic reaction. Cream of Wheat’s one of my favorites growing up on cold dreary days in New England. Like putting some sugar on top to soak in or can substitute Nice touch melting in butter. Might be a French side there. with stevia. Salmon’s a daring combination but nice dish in the morning. Hope did the trick.

I woke up very congested in my lungs so I made a big pot of cream of wheat. But whenever I’m eating carbs, I know I’ve got a pair with some protein and fat so that it doesn’t absorb quickly into my bloodstream so I had some leftover salmon from last night and even though it’s a weird combination, it worked.

Understand your situation and sympathize. I’ve similar difficulties of spine but with herniation and arthritis. Trying to hold together. Water is very therapeutic and some pools use Salt Water which has an extra layer of benefits plus enables to be more buoyant. Watch and inspired by your efforts. That’s why I go swimming every day. Is it relieves all pain the second you get in the water and you start swimming your whole body just relaxes it just floats and I think it’s really good for your mind too and your spirit just to completely decompress and just look at the water look at the sky listen to the birds. It’s very nurturing. I think human beings need a lot more of that.

When I got up this morning, I felt a little achy. I have advanced arthritis, and since it was a bit cold outside, I only did one lap. I figured I could finish the rest around lunchtime in the backyard, which I just did—so I’m all done now. Next, I’m getting ready to go to the gym to swim. I do water walking and all the exercises I’ve learned—water aerobics, water Pilates—and I just keep myself moving. I have bone spurs on nearly every vertebra in my back, along with a large one in my knee, so it’s really important that I stay active no matter how I feel. You have to keep exercising, get some sunshine, and make time to socialize.

I’m all too familiar physical pain having a fair amount of stacked work injuries accumulated through the years and happy sharing methods for managing. @Starwalker2025 It is so beautiful, Michael. Thank you for sharing. I heard about grounding for leg pain and started walking in my own backyard garden and it seems to help. Shoes off, walk on. Nature is so amazing for it's calming and healing properties.
