Sold a card under $20 on eBay, got hit with two blizzards in 3 weeks. Mail was late. Buyer asked for refund, I asked buyer to wait another week. Buyer declined, had to issue refund, eBay tells me today that the card was delivered anything I can do? @CardPurchaser

@j2oSocal @CardPurchaser I mean I’ve had three buyers tell me it said delivered but was not on that day and it ended up being delivered later that night. Not everyone is going to have the same mailing process but totally understand

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser The card may be marked delivered but in my personal experience, it's not so. I bought a rare $6 sale that usually go for $15+. It said delivered but I don't see it in the mailbox. Seller said to wait but it's been 2 wks. He's reported it as lost. Ended up buying same 1 for $20 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser Same thing happened to me. Buyer reached out after getting refunded. Said card finally came and sent me the $ via PayPal

@Chaelor @_TraderLuke @CardPurchaser eBay Standard Envelope uses a barcode not full package tracking like first class or ground, machines scan it not the physical mailer, so the final scan indicates that it landed in the said buyers local post office.

@Stass04 @_TraderLuke @CardPurchaser If it was shipped in an envelope w/o tracking how would eBay mark it as received since they aren’t tracking it either?

@thetrickster88 @CardPurchaser Yeah definitely won’t get the card back, and I don’t expect to hear from the buyer. Just the principle of being a good person about it

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser Ok then you handled it exactly right. Gotta wait 30 days before filing it the ESE refund form, though. It's a real pain in the ass. See if they'll send the card back somehow, but they aren't required to.

@thetrickster88 @CardPurchaser No they did, they didn’t even reach out, they just opened a case. The card showed up on the third day which I knew was going to happen. I reached out to them prior to responding to the case just to ask for a week. They wouldn’t work with me. I should have waited

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser Next time instead of issuing a direct refund, ask the buyer to initiate an Item Not Received case bc then you get 3 extra days to wait for the package to get there and eBay will close the case and refuse a refund if tracking says delivered by then

@penspenspens412 @BryanFrantz @CardPurchaser I mean I wouldn’t even leave bad feedback if I could. Just wouldn’t leave any at all. Also this buyer has 100% rating over years. It wasn’t a lot of money lost, just the fact that they couldn’t give me an extra week to see if the card showed up.

@Stass04 @BryanFrantz @CardPurchaser Well just remember on eBay you cannot provide negative feedback to a buyer. No matter what.. literally the only option is for positive. And you can't just cancel your sales when you might see something in the feedback you don't like. Your account will get dinged

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser If I ordered a card with free-$.30 shipping, I’d expect slow delivery, which I usually avoid. If I paid $5+ for shipping and didn’t receive any shipping updates at all for 2+ weeks, I also would have cancelled the order though. I assume communication was good on your end?

@ceopapa_mc @CardPurchaser I can’t even leave bad feedback even if I wanted to. I typically don’t leave feedback at all if it’s a bad experience. For me it’s not about losing the money or the card at this point, just don’t be scummy.

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser You’ll lose the dispute but you can give him a return label. I’d avoid bad feedback as he can leave you bad feedback and that’s more of a killer than anything else.

@ShawnOrthoPA @CardPurchaser It does. But for new sellers, you’ll always have to wait. It’s not necessarily about the timing of the delivery it’s just how eBay operates with new sellers. They release the funds eventually when you’re fairly new. Took me a few sales to get instant funds

@ShawnOrthoPA @CardPurchaser Just have to give it time. Unfortunately I have buyers who got their cards but eBay never updated the tracking to delivered. I had to reach out to make sure

@Stass04 @CardPurchaser This is a horrible weak spot in eBay's lowest possible mailing option. I've mailed stuff within my own state, weather not being an issue, and the card didn't arrive in over 3 weeks. For me, eBay has a 100% rate siding with the buyer and I have to go through the pain of appealing.

So Jade Cargill commented on Rhea Ripley and creative. Rhea took it personally and got upset, then all of Rhea's backstage friends took to Twitter and went into business for themselves to attack Jade publicly, and made this about themselves. People used to be fired for being this unprofessional.
