This coming week will be my last at a job I have been at for nearly 16 years. I'm going to a position with another company that is a really great opportunity for me. Things feel bitter sweet and far more emotional than I expected them to be.

My boss is retiring tomorrow. She has been a mentor, a confidant, and a great person in my life for 15+ years. I am so happy for her, but work is going to feel really weird without her.
