Gratuitous Relief was given to Family members of Electrocution Victim in Wokha. The relief was released through the Decentralized Relief Payment System (DRPS) via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the wife of the deceased.

A residential house at Shikuto Village, Dhansiripar, was completely gutted by fire on 21 Mar 2026 at around 17:00 hours due to a suspected short circuit. No casualties or injuries were reported. Public is advised to regularly inspect electricals wiring and follow safety measures.

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Longleng provides relief to Government Primary School (GPS) Hukphang B Ward, affected by windstorm and heavy rainfall that caused damage to the school infrastructure.

Over the past few days, strong winds accompanied by rain and hailstorm have impacted several districts across Nagaland. District administrations are assessing the extent of damage. Citizens are advised to remain cautious during such extreme weather conditions.

A house belonging to Hokhevi Sema of Khehokhu village was destroyed in a fire incident at Khehokhu village junction along the 4-Lane NH in Niuland district. The house was occupied by tenant Amiruddin, who runs a food hotel from the premises.

The 1 st batch NSS, YUVA Apdramitra training is underway at CTI Toluvi, Dimapur. YUVA Aapda Mitra which started from the 14th of July 2025 will continue till the 15th of November 2025. This training is a Scheme by NDMA and NSDMA to train 1620 volunteers from NCC, NSS, BSG n NYKS.
