Shaun Murphy has explained his recent absence from the BBC commentary box. Murphy was a regular fixture of the BBC team last season - but has not been part of the setup this campaign. He told The Metro he "couldn’t come to an agreement on terms" with the Beeb to stay #snooker

How is it that Rob Walker gets so many facts wrong this year? Zhou Yuelong's introduction was wrong as well. He's reached the 2nd round before (in 2019).

@Snooker_Chat I know people just don't like him for whatever reason, but I think he's a sound bloke. Found his commentary to be very insightful & entertaining. And with JV sadly no longer with us, I could see Shaun filling that gap with a mix of the knowledge of the game and humour over time.
