@Pirat_Nation Yes, but it’s not enough on its own anymore. With how saturated it is, visibility often comes down to a lot of things including having a bit of luck..
The idea that “if you build a good game, the marketing will take care of itself” doesn’t really hold up in today’s landscape
English

A Valve designer recently dropped some oadvice for anyone building a game on Steam:
“You should make a good game” if you want attention on the platform. There’s no “secret thing you have to know.”
The single best move you can make is to focus entirely on creating a genuinely excellent game that players will actually enjoy and talk about.
In a platform flooded with thousands of new releases every month, that emphasis on quality is what still drives real organic discovery.
Positive reviews, strong player retention, and word-of-mouth spread far more effectively than any short-term marketing gimmick.
It’s simple

@GTAnewsJP I think this is just a screenshot from GTA 6

@RelicAbyss Eyy I completely understand that feeling, I usually can’t even sleep properly the week before a launch! 😅 I’m sure everything will turn out great, game looks amazing!
English

@KingBearcrusher Thank you so much! Really appreciate that 😊
English

@steelkrill It feels really natural and smooth. I'd say the effort you put into it was worth it.
English

Fun fact: This is what inspired the Weeping Angel mechanic in The 18th Attic.
That tiny “did it just move?” moment took me ages to get right… but I love how it turned out hah 🫠

Tüm Resident Evil oyunları içinde ki EN KORKUNÇ KISIM. Çok az oyun anında nefes nefese kalmıştım... Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose
English

@KingBearcrusher Thanks! Yes, basically that's what I mostly did is by adding a timer delay to the animations when "it gets caught" and made it go slower until it comes to a full stop and then reset again 😊
English

@steelkrill I love it. The best I've ever been able to do is to put a delay timer by about half a second to stop the animation in my "is being rendered" script, but even that didn't look the way I wanted.
