With the recent @Parasite_wtf block achieved, im getting a ton of DM's on how to contribute hash. Within the @OrdinalMaxiBiz community, there is a dire need to find a reputable retailer that we can support in directing to point of sale purchases of additional miners. A community of 5K + individuals is looking for a retailer to trust, one that we can call home. Who will rise to the challenge? With the block hit on parasite pool, here is what i recived in payouts based on around 30th/s mining for around 200 days

@devjock I actually never thought about splicing it, next step is going to be that

@SterlingSpecter Awesome! So I know the originals are powered by a Peltier element; Any reason you removed the original fan? Incompatible voltages? Seems to me it might be easier to splice the fan into the Bitaxe PSU?

Remember when trying to find a heatsink, anything that’s metal is a heatsink. Just add a fan

@voycey2 It’s really good for about an hour, chip temp can’t hit the auto fan control temp. But then the miner starts to do weird things because it can’t hit the right temps

@SterlingSpecter Gerry Rig looks good. What’s the temps running at?

@TechManTy I couldn’t get it up to the right temp so I just put a small fan on the fins

@SterlingSpecter do you get any voltage out of the peltier?

@SterlingSpecter Lmao is that one of those fans you can put on top of a woodstove? 🤣

Lastly if you want to learn about the miner and what its actually doing then this last clip explains the logs of the terminal. Hopefully you got up and running, drop me a DM if you need any help.

Step 7 - Now is where you can start mining, you have built your miner, got your wallet address and found a mining pool. Now all you have to do is type the command into the shell window
