JUST FOR THE SAKE OF DISCUSSION Say the Sabres traded the 4th pick to Toronto for Matthew Knies. I feel like that will anger a lot of fans, But here me out. The Sabres essentially will have traded Bryam & Greenway for Knies, Pick 45 and Crevier. Does that sound better?

I always support athletes getting paid as much as possible. Their window is so small. Good for #Sabres on holding firm on their value for Tuch + even getting something for him. But I’ll reiterate - relying solely on young internal talent to replace Tuch would be mistake.

@FriedgeHNIC As a Sabres fan I like Tuch but he isnt ever living up to the contract hes getting. Even at 9 or 9.5 I didnt think he'd live up to that but I was okay with it.

Not a good day for our Buffalo Sabres. The Tkachuk trade is a tone setter, Florida wants to make everyone aware they can still be top dog in the Atlantic. Ottawa now has enough ammo to make a significant addition to replace Tkachuk Jarmo needs to be up for this arms race.

Tkachuk makes Florida a borderline super team… But I think you now have 3 teams you can feel somewhat confident will not be as competitive in the division with OTT, TOR, and DET. The top of the division is going to be TOUGH but you may have less at the bottom to worry about.

@Skhentwa @AdamSchefter @JordanRaanan A study on this was done already. In 4 years 91 on turf and 58 on grass. Rate per game is 0.111 on grass ans 0.132 turf. The rate is higher but not ridiculous I guess? I think anything that can be done to reduce these should be done though.

I don’t think head to head should really matter as it’s a season long race where both teams had the same number of wins. Coop was missing more significant pieces 1/2
