I am delighted to strongly endorse Kerry-Lynne Findlay as the next Leader of the Conservative Party of BC and Premier of BC. BC is in dire shape needing proven experience, not just talk. Kerry-Lynne successfully won at the Supreme Court of Canada on the side of residents in the Musqueam land leasehold dispute. Kerry-Lynne also successfully won the first fight against the NDP’s plan to bring in a no-fault “road tax”. Kerry-Lynne kept a 144 member caucus unified. Kerry-Lynne also was a successful federal cabinet minister in a key economic portfolio. This is the kind of “in the trenches” winning on key issues such as land title security and party unity that we need to lead BC. Kerry-Lynne is a proven winner who will lead BC out of darkness.

Thank you, Steve. I'm proud to have your endorsement for Premier and Leader of the Conservative Party of BC @SteveKooner

The NDP’s reckless handling of DRIPA is creating real economic uncertainty in British Columbia. When major projects like the Hudbay Copper Mine face legal and political instability, investors take notice and jobs are put at risk. Instead of providing clarity and certainty, this NDP government sends mixed messages, fuels confusion around property rights and resource development, and scares away the investment our province depends on. British Columbia cannot afford more NDP-made uncertainty.

British Columbians are getting two completely different stories from this NDP government. The Premier and Attorney General deny co-governance, yet the very leaders they are negotiating with say that is exactly what is happening. The Premier talks about “cooperative solutions” while admitting NDP legislation created significant legal liabilities, and the groups he is co-developing a response with say they will not compromise. This is the chaos and uncertainty the NDP created. British Columbians deserve honesty, transparency, and clear answers from this government. Conservatives will keep fighting for accountability and certainty for families, businesses, and communities across our province.
Fran Yanor@FranYanor

So the Premier & Attorney General deny they are co-governing BC with an elite group of Indigenous chiefs. Yet when the leader of that group is asked if they're co-governing, he says "Yes, that's exactly right." And while the Premier says govt is seeking a "cooperative solution" (to the "significant legal liabilities" created by the legislation he wrote), the group he is "co-develop[ing] a response" with says it will not compromise on DRIPA in any way.

The NDP created this DRIPA mess, and, apparently, they never understood the potential consequences of the law they passed. Now they are flip-flopping, hiding behind secrecy, and refusing to give British Columbians clear answers. Their confusion has created uncertainty for homeowners, businesses, and investors across our province. At the same time, this government is cracking down on transparency and limiting access to information to dodge accountability for the chaos it created. Common-sense Conservatives will fight for clarity, defend property rights, and restore transparency and accountability in British Columbia.

The government shouldn't hide the truth from the people paying the bills. This NDP government is dodging accountability and refusing transparency at every turn. FOI requests are essential for journalists, advocacy organizations, and British Columbians to be able to hold the government accountable Common-sense Conservatives will keep pushing back against Bill 9 and stand up for British Columbians' right to know.

Last night, British Columbians had a chance to see something that matters in a moment like this. Leadership is not about talking points or convenience. It is about showing up when it counts and standing on your convictions in front of the people you seek to serve. I was proud to stand on that stage and speak directly to the future of our province. Because this moment demands more than politics as usual. It demands a clear vision, real experience, and the courage to act. The future of British Columbia is on the line. Our way of life is on the line. Our homes, our rights, and the opportunities we pass on to our children are all at stake. I have done this work before. As Minister of National Revenue, I delivered lower taxes, cut red tape, and helped bring Canada back to balance. I know what it takes to restore strength and stability, and I know how to get results. We can build a province defined by good paying jobs, modern infrastructure, and responsible development of our resource wealth. We can bring back opportunity where it has been blocked and restore confidence where it has been lost. We can also bring back something that has been missing for too long. Transparency. Accountability. Competence. No more backroom deals. No more uncertainty. British Columbians deserve a government that speaks plainly and acts decisively. This leadership race is a choice. Not just about direction, but about who is ready to lead from day one. Who is prepared to stand up, be counted, and earn your trust. Join me. Findlay4BC.ca

🚨Premier Eby, Attorney General Sharma, and the NDP admitted DRIPA needed fixes after the Gitxaala decision; then they backed down and scrapped the amendments this session. Why? Because this NDP government chose to co-govern behind closed doors with the First Nations Leadership Council instead of governing for all 5.7 million British Columbians. Now we’re seeing lawsuit after lawsuit citing UNDRIP to challenge decisions on mining, forestry, and energy; AND the government admits 20+ claims have already been amended but refuses to release the list. Legal uncertainty. Investment risk. Jobs on the line. British Columbians are being thrown under the bus while the NDP hides the consequences.

While NDP Attorney General Niki Sharma continues to stand up in Question Period to provide scripted false accusations against BC Conservatives of fear mongering and misinformation, the Federal Official Opposition has put forward a plan to fight for private property owners in Richmond and British Columbia.

Poilievre emphasizes the importance of securing private property rights after the controversial Cowichan Tribes v Canada decision by the BC Supreme Court. "[The decision] threatens home ownership of thousands of people by prioritizing aboriginal title over private property rights," he says.

The NDP’s new Freedom of Information changes aren’t about system efficiency; they’re about hiding their scandals from the public. FOI searches have already exposed several recent NDP scandals: • Senior NDP provincial government bureaucrats were caught billing taxpayers for $1,200 per month vehicle leases. For comparison, a 2026 Range Rover Evoque S leases for $926 per month. • Finance Minister Brenda Bailey billed taxpayers $6,600 for an SUV-limousine during a four-day, self-described “junket” in Boston. • This NDP government spent $164,000 on 1,000 cups of coffee as part of a public relations stunt in Seattle Now this NDP government wants to make sure British Columbians never see this kind of scandal information ever again. taxpayer.com/newsroom/news-…

Thank you to @CastanetNews for amplifying the voices of Peachland residents who have been raising the alarm on this encampment for months.    A woman was attacked. The fire risk growing. Neighbours afraid to be in their own community.  It's completely unacceptable. The province needs to act now. And I'll keep pushing until they do.

🚨Attorney General Niki Sharma and Premier David Eby were the ones who warned British Columbians that private property rights were at risk. Now, after this NDP government chose to CO-GOVERN with the First Nations Leadership Council instead of governing for all British Columbians, the Attorney General stands in the Legislature and falsely accuses Conservatives of fear-mongering. Let’s be clear: those concerns didn’t come from Conservatives. They came from her own government. British Columbians deserve honesty, not political spin to cover up an NDP flip-flop on something as fundamental as property rights.

Zero leadership. The NDP isn't making decisions on DRIPA, others are making them for them. They've flip-flopped six times now and won't push through on legislation they said themselves was non-negotiable. That's not leadership. It's co-governance. #bcpoli

This NDP government talks a big game about improving the Freedom of Information Request System, but yet the Attorney General didn’t have the decency to provide a timely response to the National Police Federation about the case of Constable Shaelyn Yang and the denial of a Victim Impact Statement for her family. This isn’t efficiency. It’s indifference. When grieving families are ignored, and police voices go unanswered, it shows a government that doesn’t take accountability seriously. British Columbians deserve transparency, respect for victims, and timely answers, NOT silence and incompetence.

This NDP government is now “CO-GOVERNING with the First Nations Leadership Council” After calling its DRIPA amendments urgent, the government has now refused to introduce them this legislative session and has abandoned accountability to the Legislature and has exposed 5.7 million British Columbians to ongoing legal uncertainty. British Columbians deserve laws debated in the open, not decisions negotiated behind closed doors. It is shocking that this government has refused to govern for all British Columbians.

British Columbians are leaving the province in droves. Years of policy decisions that create uncertainty around private property rights and investment have consequences. When families and job creators lose confidence that their homes, land, and projects are secure, they look elsewhere. British Columbia should be a place people move to build their future, NOT a place they feel forced to leave.

This NDP government has completely flip-flopped on its DRIPA amendments and has failed to govern for all British Columbians. Because this NDP government refused to act, it has exposed British Columbians to legal liability while court cases continue. This government made it clear it won’t introduce its DRIPA amendments this session and it also REFUSES TO GUARANTEE its amendments legislation in the fall session. British Columbians deserve certainty and leadership. Instead, they are being thrown under the bus.
