@bluesocks81 Totally agree - I get the sense it gives powerless people a feeling of being in control. You're figuring out the "truth" using clues; you're uncovering something greater. It has some of the addicting aspects of science which we love, but in a totally bastardised form

I feel deeply sorry for anyone who is caught up in the #QAnon grift. These conspiracy theories are just a means to prey on people who are uncomfortable with the messiness of the complicated world we live in.
